Over these past few months I have pulled so far away from my faith and God. I decided I would try this thing called life on my own, however I soon discovered I CANNOT!! How in the world can you live your life with your own agenda when you are not even the one in control of it? The decisions I made while being way from God have hurt me and torn me down farther than anything before. Im finally seeing I have been more destructive to my spirit than uplifting myself. The path I chose was not a path I am proud of but Im coming back slowly but surely Im coming back. I am tired of living my life according to my agenda it does NOT work!! When I finally TODAY surrendered my life to God completely all my hopes, my dreams, my relationships, my life, I was finally feeling a bit of peace in my heart! How incredible, I have been fighting this yearning for God and finally He caught my eye he showed me HE is my PROVIDER, my PROTECTOR, my LOVER, my BEST FRIEND, he MISSED me!!! God was missing spending time with little me! While I was doing my devotions, I felt him say, "The way you have been feeling lonely, thats how I feel with you and I, I miss you!!" How crazy!! A God who has this whole world in the palm of His hand as he watches and waits for us to come back he misses us when we leave him. He misses our relationship with Him, He misses you and me when we stray! God is so awesome he just wants to spend time with you! He wants to know you care! He wants to know you love him, you want a relationship with him, you want his will for your life! Can you just give up a little time out of your day and begin to discover His love and what he wants from you. He doesn't need us he WANTS us! Begin your day with a simple prayer to surrender your agenda to him! He wants to show you what he can do for your life! He has a beautiful plan!
